The history of our hotel, ideally located in the heart of Rochefort-sur-Mer, began in 1677. In those days, horse-drawn carriages entered the stable in the inner courtyard via today's entrance porch. Lis-ted as a Bâtiments de France building, the former stable is an integral part of the Arsenal. Its historic character gives it a unique cachet, even if it doesn't allow the installation of an elevator and the floor isn't always straight!
The old building has a soul... Victor Hugo himself enjoyed stopping here twice, but history doesn't say in which room!
